Meet Our Leaders
Pastor Michael Bush
Pastor Michael is a native Washingtonian. He was born May 7, 1963.

In November 2009, the leadership of Covenant Family Worship Center of Fredericksburg, Virginia heard from the Lord to ordain Minister Michael E. Bush as Elder to do greater works for the Kingdom of God and the body of Christ. To expand his knowledge base on Kingdom living and obtain a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit, he attended Christian International Ministries Network, graduated the program after completing courses in ministering spiritual gifts.

In February 2012, Elder Michael and his loving wife (Pastor Raychel) accepted the faith assignment to launch Fresh Manna Ministries, Inc. (FMM) on August 9, 2012. Two years later, FMM’s doors opened to the public on February 26, 2014. The vision was birthed: establishing “Believers in Christ – New Identity.”

Pastor Michael believes in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; better known as the Trinity/Godhead and through faith in Jesus’ name is the only way to obtain eternal salvation. Pastor Michael shares ministry life with his lovely wife Pastor Raychel G. Bush of Houston, Texas. They have been experiencing marital bliss for 25 years.

On September 14, 2018, Pastor Michael and Raychel were blessed with their new faith assignment as Senior Pastors of Covenant Family Worship Center, where Pastors “Emeritus” John E. and Leatha Hardy (Founders) presided.
Pastor
Raychel Bush
Pastor Raychel Goss Bush, is the co-founder and laborer with her husband, Pastor Michael E. Bush of Fresh Manna Ministries (FMM) Inc., of Stafford Virginia, where she serves as the vice president on the board of directors.

Pastor Raychel is a native of greater Houston, Texas and alumni of Maryland University, College Park. A retired Army veteran of 22 years, while serving to protect and defend her country, Pastor Raychel gently heard the whisper of God calling her to join His eternal Army. She began to volunteer and participate in several ministry auxiliaries; chaired a Protestant Women’s Group; was lead choir director; and, overseer of the Ministry of Helps. As she continued with her armor to serve in God’s Army, in 1992 God put Pastor Raychel on the path where she would meet and marry her lifetime ministry partner, Michael E. Bush, a native Washingtonian, in December 1993. In June 2009, Minister Raychel received her diploma of ministerial studies from Spirit of Faith Bible Institute, Brandywine, Maryland.

In November 2009, the leadership of Covenant Family Worship Center heard from the Lord to license Pastor Raychel to do greater works for the Kingdom of God and the body of Christ. Alongside her husband, she attended courses in ministering spiritual gifts from Christian International Ministries Network, leading to her next assignment as Associate Pastor of Covenant Family Worship Center.

As she continues to trust and follow Him, Proverbs 3:5-6 remains the bedrock scripture she firmly stands on: “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding in all of your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”
