Doctrine of Salvation (Soteriology) 

Module 5: Doctrine of Salvation (Soteriology) – It deals with the application of the work of redemption to the sinner and his restoration to divine favor and communion with God. There are two segments to this module which covers the provision that has been made and the application of the provisions.

Goal: The goal of the laity minister is to understand the Doctrine of Salvation according to the Scriptures.

Learning Objectives: Given the information present at the end of this Module the laity minister will be able to:

  • Evaluate the provision of salvation with the scriptural references for each.

  • Employ the application of salvation with the scriptural references for each.

Discussion – Each laity minister will answer the discussion questions which the pastor will pose to gauge their understanding of the segment. Each discussion response will be 200-350 words summarizing the material for that segment.

Module Paper - Each laity minister will complete a 4-6-page paper after the module explains Man’s salvation containing all biblical references used within the body of the paper and submitted for grading.
